I was really hoping this would meet my needs but I couldn't get the product to work. According to the documentation the LED should turn blue once you have a signal - this never happened, I also kept it plugged in all the time hoping the light wouldn't matter and I could get the signal - but again nothing. I've tried a DVD player, laptop (multiple resolutions), cable box and HDMI extender, all showing no signal at the other end. I plugged this directly into the device, not through a splitter, and confirmed all the cables were fine by using another device to test.
