I loved this swimsuit the first time I tried it on. As soon as I actually went swimming in it, my ribs hurt. When I took it off I had scratches where the girls supports ended. Using a nail file (I was on a cruise, used what I had) snapped up the seams to remove the supports. I chose this suit because I didn't want aching bones, instead I got sharp plastic. One end was rounded, but the downward end was serrated on each side. Without them I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation, although the girls were no longer supported.
