They're worth every penny and I'm not surprised that a lot of the bad reviews come from people who got a product for free in exchange for their honest review. If you are seriously considering investing your own money in this product, chances are you are really invested in your bag collection and want to preserve and display it, not just store and/or organize it. Order and accessibility of the rat's nest pockets. Rather, it will help maintain and grow your investment in your bag collection. Here's how: SAVE YOUR BAGS. Some bags are only meant to be hung up! Let gravity act on these voluminous leather bags, which even well-padded upholstery cannot unfold. The smooth acrylic will not snag or tarnish on your bag's straps/handles like regular metal coat hooks (which are usually poorly made and have a cheap finish). Dark contact patches from peeling mystery metal, gone! The gentle curve of the temple ensures that there are no pressure points that could cause the straps/handles to tear or deform. It is wide enough to easily fit the straps/handles of any bag. SHOW YOUR BAGS. These hangers give each bag the attention it deserves. These hangers are not meant to rest all your bags on - hence the small ledge on the hanger. The lips are enough to hold a bag comfortably. You could probably mount two bags on the same hanger if the straps/handles of both bags are narrow and thin/flat, but the bags themselves should also be thin and flat (or have different handle lengths) so they don't overfill during suspension . - If you want to hang a lot of bags and don't have enough space, use a bag tree over the door or a shelving or chain system with S hooks. STURDY DESIGN - These hangers hold some of my 4+ pound bags perfectly. I'd be shocked if there were any cracks - the weight hanging off one side of the hanger doesn't seem to put undue stress on the hook's attachment point on or around the hanger itself. It feels like only the highest quality materials have been used. used in the manufacture of this product. TLDR: If you're going to forgo the extra $13 per bag to hang your bags with these hangers, these aren't the hangers your bags need.
