Great looking cells in my acrylic painting!

I have used this product twice. I got two different results. I read so many reviews on this product before purchasing it and it seemed like it either worked or it didn't. I believe this product really works, for me it was just a learning experience. It doesn't just create cells when just mixed with paint. It could be, but it's definitely more about the weight of the colors and how they're mixed, applied or poured, and the types of techniques involved. I'm a beginner and when I first used it I put a drop or two individually in each paint cup. I didn't force the cells with heat, to form and I was pretty sure it had something to do with this product. However, after using it for the second time, I found that it was definitely not the case and the silicone worked as advertised. As a result, I got completely different results with the second filling. I found it was more about the weight of the colors and how they were mixed, layered and applied than the silicone. I also applied silicone differently. The first time I mixed it thoroughly with each color, but the second time I added 1-2 drops of silicone to each cup of paint and instead of stirring a lot I squeezed the silicone into the color mixture maybe 2-4 times to smooth it out to distribute it. instead of mixing it up. I also poured everything differently and I didn't even need heat, so that the cells form so quickly and beautifully. I used Floetrol or some water to thin them more and then a few drops of silicone. I will keep trying new avenues and am just grateful for the left brain artist whoever he is! They're not perfect like I said, I'm a beginner, but they show what I mean!
