I really like this ankle brace. These ankle boots are comfortable to wear. It doesn't take a genius to figure out how to wear an ankle stabilizer. I wear no 9, medium ankle size. I bought a medium sized black ankle brace that fits perfectly. I could buy a small one, but I assembled it. All you have to do is 1) Untie your shoelaces. 2) Put your foot in. 3) Tighten the laces. 4) Cross the long straps in front of your legs, then under and around. 5) Lift the long strap and fasten it tightly around your ankle. 6) Finally, slide the horizontal band over the long ankle band. I don't even need to look at the manual. So far my left ankle and my right ankle have been supported by this ankle. I did three to five miles and 10+ mile sprints. I don't think it's anything else. If you plan on using this ankle brace for a long time, I recommend either putting a longer sock under the ankle brace stabilizer or wrapping it around your ankle. If you are not used to brushing your skin, it can become irritating. I've also worn these ankle braces, climbing shoes, and regular canvas shoes. He didn't find it bulky or uncomfortable. For those who play indoor volleyball, you need to protect your ankle. This product does a good job of stabilization. I'm a side hitter and spend a lot of time hitting. I feel secure with this ankle brace.
