So I use it for other purposes. However, I will give an idea of it for the intended use. First, it arrived very quickly, almost expected these days. Second, it came with a zipped storage bag, I don't know how long it will last, but it feels nice. Third, it's made up of three sections, each about 14 inches long - one section functions to adjust the stretch, effectively doubling the length. At the end there is a plastic thread for typical attachments such as mops, cleaning brushes and paint rollers. They also included another "receiver" threaded item that you can modify as needed to make your own mount. That brings me to how I'm going to use it. I built a "suitcase" with a 200 watt solar panel to take with me on hikes. I needed an adjustable pole to "support" the solar panels at different angles throughout the day. So this adjustable bar seems to do the trick. I can add a section and adjust another section of the pole to get the best panel angle to the sun during the day. I used the included adapter to screw the pole tightly to the solar panel to keep the pole from swaying in the wind. So overall this is a good adjustable retractable stick. Can be stowed away easily and compactly. It stretches to a reasonable length and fits all of your standard tool bits, leaving room for customization to your liking. Overall good value for money and should last a while with proper care in use.
