I am very happy with these snowflake needles! I wanted a sparkly pin to wear during the winter holidays and it's a fantastic price! I plan to tie them with ribbons to decorate the top of the little chocolate or biscuit boxes I'll be giving to my co-workers as little gifts for the upcoming holidays (we don't trade, but I can't resist giving some away) . I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pins. The crystals seem to stick well, the pin clasp twists and snaps (not just the one you push to hook the clasp) and they are very pretty and so shiny! I will actually be ordering more once I'm done with this review. They make great souvenirs at a Christmas party or winter wedding by threading a pretty ribbon through the pin on the back and attaching a little card with some kind of mood on it. these and then hang them on a lighted wooden tabletop. I think they will fit women or men and look smart on a woman's coat or a man's lapel. I like to send everyone home as a favor when I'm throwing a Christmas party for my family, so I'll keep them in mind for next year as (unfortunately) gatherings aren't possible this year. Just a note: I checked snowflake pins (and read the reviews) on several websites before purchasing them. Others were larger (maybe 1/2-1 inch larger) but also cost 8-10 times more. I can't comment on the quality of the ones I've looked at online and I wouldn't go so far as to say that they are of above average quality, but they are very good. ***Updated Review*** I can now comment on the quality of another snowflake pin (approx 2 inch) I purchased through a popular seller (which I will be returning). Apparently it belongs to a well-known brand that makes costume jewelry (pins?). The metal seems heavier and the locking pin is a bit stronger, although upon closer inspection I noticed that it was bent where it attaches to the pin. The regular price was about 1.5x the price for a set of 9 of these pens. but I like these better!
