Take your time and you will get great results!

I wanted to make my own Sailor Moon switch so I was so happy when I found this pastel pink set (the stickers were purchased by me on Etsy). I am very impressed with the quality and the finished look. I also bought a set of white knobs from them. My installation experience was very good. I had no problems. With that in mind, here are some tips: 1. Use your own tools. Yes, it comes with the screwdrivers you need. But they are not very good. You can get a set of small screwdrivers as well as a special Nintendo screwdriver right here on Amazon. You will need a "switch screwdriver" as well as a ph000 screwdriver. I can't stress this enough. If you use the ones that came with the kit, the screws strip very easily when you try to remove them. 1a. Speaking of screws, be careful of the screws you remove and make sure you use the right screwdriver. Some are shaped like the letter "Y". This requires a special Nintendo screwdriver.2. TAKE YOUR TIME. This is not a quick project. If you rush this, you'll make mistakes and possibly damage something. It requires a patient and delicate hand. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN JOYCON SCREWS when reassembling. This can not only damage the fragile parts inside, but also affect the function of the buttons. 2a. If you break the screw off the smallest piece but can pull it out, DO NOT reuse that screw. Replace with one of the screws from the kit.3. FOLLOW YOUR VIDEOS. The video is very detailed and well done. My suggestion is to change the video playback speed to 0.5x. At ground speed, it's too fast to follow. I paused after each step to make sure I was doing everything right. If possible, watch the video before you start to get a feel for the whole process and then proceed with the installation.4. Be careful of the screws when removing. Many different lengths are used. I used small paper cups to insert the screws and gradually remove them. So I had some small cups to keep the screws I removed sorted. Some screws may give you a bit of trouble. BE PATIENT WITH IT. Nintendo doesn't want you to fit in there, so some of the screws have what appears to be a small amount of glue on them. So you have to "break the sealโ€. Again, be patient and careful. The last thing you want is a stripped screw when trying to remove the parts. This is where the right screwdrivers come into play.5a. This also applies to some JOYCON internals that have to be removed. For example, a small vibrating element such as a battery is sealed with tape. It is not difficult at all to remove them. Just remember that they are taped.6. Get some good tweezers! It was insanely helpful. Not only when unplugging the ribbon cables, but also when unplugging and reinserting some of the smaller buttons. The latter concerns the body itself. Due to the satin/matt surface, the case can easily get dirty or scratched. I decided to buy a clear protective case so none of this would happen. I also knew I was going to add decals so I wanted them to be clean and secure. I personally like the look of the transparent protective cover. YOU MADE A SMALL MISTAKE WITH THE ZR BUTTON IN THE VIDEO AND YOU EXPLAINED IT IN THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION** I'm thinking about it. I am very happy with my purchase and the end result.
