I bought this attractive 3 tier round cupcake rack and will be using it for mini cupcakes first. It arrived incredibly well packaged and protected. And yes, assembly is required (but not difficult). Each round plate is individually wrapped; two long legs wrapped separately; four short curled legs; four rubber feet to prevent the stand from slipping; Screws come in their own bag with extra long and short screws; A small screwdriver is included for assembly. Oh, and directions. All of this is packed in a sturdy little box. I was very impressed when it arrived. And the stand can of course not only be used for cupcakes. It can be easily disassembled for storage.
