I have been purchasing this product for a while and am very disappointed in its quality. We buy this regularly because our son has autism and a stereotypical movement disorder where he bangs his head (harming himself) to the point where he's covered in blood so it was a must have, especially if he is goes to bed. They used to use a metal bar and now they use a thin plastic bar and now he can hit himself before he goes to sleep. No parent likes to wake up and see their child covered in blood... Of course I won't sleep until I find another good product. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE UPDATED PRODUCT!
