The device was ok for the first two showers. After removing the hand head a few times, the connections started to leak. The connections were as tight as could be without a wrench that could break the plastic fittings if overtightened. The device leaked through the connector from the shower head and at the connection to the hoses (mostly on both sides of the 3-way adapter). The only thing that didn't leak was the indicator head or the hose - probably because all the other leaks allowed little water to get into the head. Yes, I used the teflon tape that came with the kit (although the instructions don't mention its use). To be fair it took me about 15 days to install but the unit failed after 5 showers. And of course I was 2 days late to return it. With the quality of this machine, it's no wonder they only give you 30 days.
