Review on 🚗 Enhance your driving with Hopkins 60195VA nVISION Rearview Camera System by Matthew Evans

I bought this item about 3 months ago and . It looked very promising. All in all I was able to do a clean install by hiding the wires behind the plastic shroud on top. The camera works fine. The main problem concerns the proximity sensors. They work inconsistently. In 60% of the cases only one (left) side works. 30% of the time none of them work. In 10% of cases both (left/right) sides work. I've found that both sides are more likely to work when it's sunny and warm. It seems to me that there must be some sort of bad contact/wiring in the rear license plate bracket, resulting in a loose connection made worse by the weather. This condition appeared from day one and continues even after 3 months. I almost hit something hard as I didn't hear any beeps at the time. This reduces the credibility of the system. I took good care of the setup/installation/connections - proof that the camera (picture) always works. Since it's solid wire, I don't see any reason why part of it might not work sometimes. I hope I got a bad block. I do not know what to do. Hopefully the manufacturer will contact me with advice on what I can do to resolve the situation. If a remedy is suggested I will come back and post an update on the review.
