You get what you pay for
I'm not a professional but I know when something is broken and/or not working. The pop filter had a broken hook. It wouldn't really be an issue if it actually did something to limit explosives. I put on a borrowed foam sock and it worked much better than the filter that came with it. The shock is also quite finicky, while the rubber straps detach from a few snags very easily. Final Verdict: You get what you pay for.
