Review on Premium Black Parker's Genuine Leather Safety Razor Protective Sheath – Ideal Travel Cover for Standard Double Edge Razors by Linda Floyd

I rarely write reviews, but I've decided to tell potential buyers something. First, this thing isn't all leather. As another reviewer noted, there's a synthetic corduroy lining on the inside. I'm not a purist in this sort of thing, but I doubt it will last very long. Second, it's a bit small. My main razor is an old Gillette Super Speed and it barely fits. Third, and that's why it's in my bin now (it's non-returnable per Revain's policy) because it has a really strong chemical smell that hasn't dissipated since I opened it yesterday. Maybe it's the glue they used on the lining. All I know is that it's pungent and medicinal, and I don't want that smell anywhere near me. On the other hand, it's well made and good value, so if you can forget about the smell, this could be a good buy.
