Excited about my new blanket
I am very sensitive to chemical odors and my skin does not respond well to some artificial fabrics. I am pleased that the Hillfair blanket is certified to Global Organic Textile Standards. And it didn't cost nearly as much as other organic cotton blankets. It smelled good even from the fabric packaging. I washed it (just in case), tumble dried it and then slept wonderfully with extra warmth. The only minor downside is that the fabric sheds small bits in the first wash that end up on whatever is washed with it. The quilted fabric has a basket weave structure and is moderate in weight.
