Despite my apprehension about purchasing a "game" headset, the quality is satisfactory (the speakers are identical to those found in previous iterations of the Arctis series). Although it is not ideal, the music is varied and there is no gender bias in the games. Before moving to a new outpost, I spent a considerable amount of time picking out a new headset. Just to hang out and have fun with the gang at work. offers benefits: From the headphones, there is just one cable with a combo connector, but an adaptor to use with two 3.5-millimeter jacks is provided. This is a major benefit. The absence of a USB port is matched by the case's high-quality plastic construction, which gives it a professional but unthreatening air. - Soft fabric is used for ear pads to allow air circulation and prevent moisture buildup in the ears. This results in less strain on the skull. - Ideal for those with a larger than average head, as the microphone barely picks up breath when placed near the lips. Cons: - On a wide head, the "cushion" made of eco-leather on the headband tends to rip off little by little over time - Reviews say the reverse, maybe you could test it more carefully and ask about coworkers. - The microphone appeared to be unobtrusive and highly selective in its sensitivity (distant sounds were inaudible, while the interlocutor could clearly hear background noises). A persistent sound emanated from behind them, clearly audible to the speaker. I gave it a shot and recorded my voice; nobody stressed the importance of this to me, but I decided to give it a shot anyhow. But for the cost, it's hard to complain too much.
