Review on SPRING MADE Premium Strap Micro Adjustment Women's Watches by Carla Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Zulu harness. Need a longer strap.

New to the whole game with a watch strap, having revived a bunch of old watches in my storage box and also bought a few new ones. After researching the various strap options available and what would fit my watch collection, I narrowed my preference down to leather, silicone (with quick release pins), or Zulu straps, which only have a layer of nylon on the back of the watch (The real NATO is two-layered). For the watch I wanted a Zulu strap for I bought various versions including regular Zulu, elastic Zulu and elastic rolled parachutes (type Erika's Originals). Normal Zulus with an adjustment hole have the problem that other harnesses with adjustment holes are either too tight or too loose - cannot be adjusted perfectly. I think another reviewer called this strap "Goldilocks" and it's "spot on". Elastic bands are very comfortable, but they will stretch over time - this is inevitable. This harness solves all of the above problems - fits perfectly, is comfortable and lasts a long time. This "fern" I received is different from their "green" version - a different strap material. Fern is the "seat belt" or "premium" material, while green is the traditional nylon used in all other Zulu and Nato harnesses. The color appears to be the same (I confirm as I'll get the original green later) but Spring Made has named the colors differently, probably to distinguish the 'Premium' from the original. The group feels very comfortable when you find this beautiful place on the accommodation. Learning to put on the buckle (which is of excellent quality) is difficult at first, but you will quickly learn how to put it on quickly after a few tries. The only issue some might have with this strap is the length. For my 7 inch wrist the length was perfect as I had enough excess to tuck 1/2 inch back into the second ring of the strap. second and first elastic and around the whole arm, then you may not have too much left to put back in, or the excess may not even reach the second elastic on the first pass. Spring Made should make them in the current length and a longer version for those with large wrists or who want enough extra to mummify themselves. As far as price goes, it's double the price of other Zulu and NATO straps on the market, but I'm willing to pay for something that's good quality and seems to last a long time. As soon as I get the original "green" version I will write a separate review about it. So if your wrist is 7 inches or smaller you have the perfect Zulu bracelet. Sorry big brothers and sisters, but you may have to wait for Spring Made to release a longer version.
