Every winter here in the Northeast, my hands get dry and cracked from washing them multiple times a day. To repair the damage I've tried many lotions and even special moisturizing gloves while I sleep. While some of these things have worked to varying degrees, I hate using greasy lotions and certainly don't want to use products like this while I'm typing all day. So, Benjamin Franklin's axiom, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of therapy" is still relevant today. I now apply a pearl-sized drop of Gloves in a Bottle after the first hand wash of the day. After massaging my hands for about a minute, paying special attention to areas prone to cracking, such as around my thumbnail and the edge of my hand, this lotion just "disappears." So far, just one application in the morning is enough for me so that my hands don't dry out. This is superior to any regular moisturizer I've ever tried.
