Review on ๐ŸŽง Immerse in True Wireless Audio Bliss with JBL VIBE 100 TWS In-Ear Headphones - Purple by Nick Colton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good sound for this price range, disappointing case design no cap, no waterproof

PRO: - Good volume/bass: In my opinion these headphones sound better than any other headphones I've tried. this price range (around $50). They seem to be more bass-heavy than most other headphones I've tested, and are slightly louder than other headphones in this range. - Cost: less than $50. CONS: - Body: First of all, there is no top in this case. It seems strange, and I was initially hesitant to take the headphones with me in a case. To make up for the lack of coverage in the case, the earbuds are VERY magnetically protected when in the case; so much so that you can definitely hold the case upside down and shake it and the buds won't fall out. However, this actually creates another potential problem; because if you have big fingers or long nails, it can be quite difficult to even get the headphones out of the case. There's not much room on the sides due to the protrusion at the edge, and they're so magnetically attracted to the base that I actually have a bit of a hard time getting them out every time. I found this quite annoying and wish there was a regular lid like most things. Also, the case doesn't have wireless charging so you'll need to connect (USB-C). I would worry about spilling water or something on them if they are in a suitcase because. - Not waterproof: They do not have an IPX rating / water resistance. This seems to be a pretty big problem for some people who wear the earbuds while exercising, and combined with the case's open design, it seems like they could easily be damaged by water. No ANC: It's not the biggest issue, but many headphones now have active noise cancellation and I've gotten used to that. Other thoughts: The earbuds appear to last just under 4 hours at high volume and fully charge in around 90 minutes. The case is said to be able to charge them three times from the case battery, and the case itself charges from zero to a full charge in about two hours. Call quality when using headphones was good. The headphones use Bluetooth 5.0 and holding the button for a second launches the default wizard, everything is pretty standard. GENERAL: I'm really not a big fan of this case design and if you have big fingers or long nails the headphones can be a bit of a hassle. I also wouldn't feel very comfortable trying to train with them without some sort of waterproof rating. I would only recommend these headphones if you are looking for cheap, loud headphones with good bass; And you don't want to train with them, and you don't mind ANC and the case's wireless charging. At $50, it's hard to beat that loud, bass-heavy sound, but there are some pretty big compromises. You might want to spend a little more and get headphones with a better body and some waterproofing.
