This review is for the Tree New Bee TNB-K0033 Laptop Cooling Pad which I have been using for a little over a month replacing another brand's cooling pad that had fans completely burned out after one a few years. There are 2 rotary switches that control the fans. One switch controls two front fans; The other switch controls the two rear fans and the center fan. Although there is speed adjustment, there is little difference between the lowest and highest speeds. In general it is very quiet. As with most laptop coolers available today, each fan has LED indicators that are always on. Fortunately, the effect is mostly blocked when the laptop is in place. Another reviewer pointed out the poor design of the rear lift leg's rubber feet, and this person is absolutely right. If you move the pillow forward, the rubber feet may fall off. Therefore, on a smooth table, the stand without legs slides very easily, which increases the likelihood of the laptop falling off the table. The manufacturer should have made the rubber feet firmer. The workaround I took is to apply epoxy to the inside of the rubber feet. There is a plastic insert on the front of the lining. This is to prevent the laptop from slipping off the stand when the back of the stand is lifted. The plastic insert is about 4 inches wide and sits about half an inch above the pad. Although the insert is thin, it feels pretty solid. Rubber foot issue aside, this is a decent product for the price.
