Vera Monte has changed the fiber these socks are made of, instead of polyester it's nylon - but only 10% They feel quite comfortable, unlike my legs! I immediately ordered a few "Originale" in pink, grey, wine and orange. The new ones seem half as thick/soft to me - I think they may have changed the quality of the cotton as well, there is a big difference between long staple cotton and inferior cotton mill. Even trying on the new socks when they arrived I knew right away they were different, they were cheaper, not as soft and I could feel them tightening my ankles which with the nylon they have makes sense you know. Keep it all in" tights. I took the sock off, a minute later my shins already showed marks from the elastic at the top of the sock. Glad to see others like her, it would be great to have other colors I would pay more if that's a problem but manufacturers tend to lower the quality to make more money instead of raising the prices a shame.
