The belt itself is made of heavy, durable metal. 7 ounces solid. And the strap is just wide enough to slip through the loops. Nylon 1000D. Magic Locks! Quick release, no latch to detach or unzip. Just press the quick release buckle. Casual wear feels more casual with a comfortable belt around the waist. I can wear it every day knowing my belt won't let me down. Thing is solid, stays in place, no fuss! I chose the grey/gold combination because it looks casual. Highly recommended!
