About a week's worth of experience with utilizing it. Prior to that, I worked for a period of two years on a MacBook Pro 15.4 (2022, i7, 16 RAM, and 256 GB hard drive). The first thing I do is compare it to something else. The following apps are typically operated in parallel: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Mozilla/Safari, Google Calendar, Apple Notes, Microsoft Reminders, Citrix, Parallels/TeamViewer, WhatsApp, Skype, and Microsoft Teams. The old Mac would get quite hot and require constant use of the cooling, which was especially problematic for video conference and screen sharing over Skype. Burning and making a lot of noise are the only symptoms. However, the new one offers at least some benefit. The temperature is dropping, just like it is outside the window right now.))) The only difference is that it does not generate any heat and is completely silent. The screen is seriously awesome! + the optimal ratio for working with code and papers. And when used in conjunction with the second monitor, the results are typically fantastic! Even when using virtual machines, users are unable to run Windows, which is a significant limitation given that ARM architecture requires Windows to function properly. At work, I frequently find myself in situations requiring the use of Windu (where an upgraded EDS or SAP GUI is required). The solution is quite straightforward: I installed Windows on a different machine and make regular connections to it using TeamViewer. The keyboard is significantly improved, and it now features improved convenience and comfort. Because this keyboard has a black substrate, the keys are not visually separated from one another and cannot be differentiated using peripheral vision; as a result, there are occasions when I am unable to press the appropriate keys. Those who are on the fence about upgrading their older Mac to an Intel-based model should know that doing so is strongly encouraged. Simply a new level to conquer! A gun! Race! + The rate has once again increased, and I believe that it will continue to increase.
