Starts bad but gets better

4/29/15 *UPDATE for Apple Watch* I thought the issue mentioned below would be solved if I did what the manufacturer suggests, but when I got my first run with my Apple Watch, and with these headphones I still had LOTS of problems with the headphones turning off. I wear the watch on my left hand and the headphone on my right ear. I think the problem here is that the bluetooth isn't strong enough for the Apple Watch because when I moved the watch to my right hand the mute issue stopped. When I moved my right hand and pressed it against my back, they started turning off, and when I put my hand on the watch, they also started turning off. Therefore, in this case, I tend to blame the Apple Watch and think that the signal strength with Bluetooth is rather weak. I can live with wearing it on my right wrist when traveling or running to solve a problem. The earbuds stayed in my ears throughout my run with no issues, which was great, so overall I'm still happy with the earbuds themselves. -------------------- -- ---------------- Initial review: Starts off badly but gets better: my first a pair of bluetooth headphones so didn't know what to expect. I mainly wanted them for running and air travel because I was tired of messing around with cords. I read many reviews, chose this one and just put it to the test. I liked that I can connect it to both my iPhone and Apple Watch and tried it on my iPhone first. It kept disconnecting even though my phone was in my pocket and it was quite annoying but it seemed to stabilize after a while but still worked. Then I tried my watch. I wear my watch on my left wrist and my Bluetooth headphones in my right ear. Cut much worse and even more annoying. When I lowered my hand to my side, it almost completely came off and I thought they weren't suitable for my running. The audio was acceptable. It's not what you get from wired headphones, but they have a pretty decent range and good sound quality for what you pay. Still, I returned home and wanted to return them because I couldn't stand the constant clipping of them. I then went to the manufacturer's website to check the range, which was listed as up to 30 feet. Then I checked the support page and the first point was to cut out the headphones. It suggests deleting all paired Bluetooth devices on your phone (by choosing "Forget this device") and then reconnecting the headphones. I did that and the problem was solved. I could walk around in another room in the house with my phone and it wouldn't turn off. Did the same with my watch and they were fine too. The fit is good and they offer you multiple stabilizers and connector sizes. They fit snugly in my ears like there's nothing good about them. The sound could be better, but if you want better sound you need to spend about $100 more on a high-end pair in my opinion. They are perfect for what I need.
