Review on ToyVelt 12 Piece Kids Jazz Drum Set - Stimulate Creativity & Rock Out With Little Rockstar Kit! by Carl Mayes

Cheaply Made / horrible quality toy

Bought this for my 4 year old son. He had been asking to learn how to play the drums. Instead of trusting my gut, that told me not to buy it ( after reading the awful reviews) I went ahead and took the risk. Wish I hadn't. This is definitely not what I was expecting. It is made extremely cheap! First, it was already broken in several places before we even took it out of the box. Went ahead and assembled it, only bc my son had been patiently waiting for it's arrival. After assembly ( might I add, there were no directions) it broke again the first 3 minutes we had it up. It has got to be the cheapest plastic ever. Comparable to the fake silver rims on toy cars. Bendable plastic basically. It is in no way to be used as a actual source of music/ drum, rather just a cheap, cheap toy and that's it. We packed it back up and sent it for a return. My suggestion, if you're really interested in a starter drum set, is to spend the little extra money >> it's definitely worth it $ in my opinion. We ended up going to Fry's electronics to purchase a drum 3pc drum set for 79.00. Couldnt be happier with our new one.
