I have a single storey house. I set up two cameras in front of the house and two in the back. I have a receiver in front. I have no trouble receiving a signal from two front cameras. The two rear cameras are about 70 feet from the receiver. I cannot receive a signal from these cameras. I tried rotating the camera antennas but to no avail. If I put the receiver in the back kitchen, I can receive all 4 cameras without any problems. But here I don't need a receiver. I want the whistle to be in my office. I'm within reception specifications. Very disappointed with this product! Update: I have solved the problem that the two cameras at the back of the house were not working. I have two antennas through two Dual Band Omnidirectional Wi-Fi 9dbi Booster Long Range 2.4/5GHz 802.11n/b/g antennas with RP-SMA connector on magnetic base (RG175 coax cable 19.5 inch / 50 cm) replaced - for sale by Revane. I had to put heavy duty double sided tape on the base so the side would stick to the house where the cameras were.
