I am very impressed with this device. I used it as a backup for an independent shoot and loved what it had to offer. I also think it's a good value. Keep in mind that this isn't the best mic out there considering there are a plethora of professional mics out there and there are definitely better mics out there. However the kit is good and when used with a digital audio recorder the sound quality was good. I would consider buying another one. My only complaint is that. XLR connectors are sometimes difficult to attach/remove. And the wind protection is not very good.
