I am amazed at the quality of this item. Of course, I had no idea how well made it was before I bought it. But at that price I figured it would be somewhere between utter rubbish and something useful. I've used much more expensive stuff. Joe McNally in particular endorsed and designed the very similar shape of the Luma Something Teardrop Reflectors and it has been on my wish list for a while. But for over $100, it was just a wish. After receiving this I removed this product from my wish list and will look to this manufacturer for many more products. I used a McNally designed reflector and this product is as well made as it is. McNally's product has slightly different specs, but the fact that they charge $100 more for a product is clearly related to the name and not the product. This reflector is very well made. The frame and handle material is thick and durable. The handle is rigid, allowing you to hold the reflector by the handle at any angle. It doesn't hang from the grip like other reflectors, allowing me to hold it while shooting with my other hand. The other colors that come with the frame are actually a pocket that zips up and slides over the frame. Zipper bag black/white and gold/silver. To change color, open the bag, slightly remove the bag from the frame, turn it over and place it back on the frame for other colors. Scattered white, firmly sewn to the frame. I was expecting a thin velcro strip to which I could attach whatever color I wanted. I had to keep stretching and adjusting myself. This does not apply to this product. The zip pocket fits perfectly and when fitted looks like it is sewn securely to the frame and needs to be checked to see if it is removable. The zipper has a large teether and is sewn with a subtle edge that prevents it from snagging on the nylon material. I can't speak more about how well made this product is. It's of such high quality that when folded and then unfolded, the frame material is thick enough that it pops open at a fairly rapid rate, and it also requires more force to remove than you think, mind you, it's not the case. enough that you need help, but then again, it just doesn't fit the same bill as other $16 items. Very convenient to put in your bag. The price was so low that I ended up buying two if I needed silver and gold, black and white or a combination of these I could do it. I am very happy with this product as I will indeed look to this brand for all my purchases and reflector needs.
