Ever since Bass Pro bought Cabelas and dropped the Cabelas lined shirt jacket I have been trying to find a replacement with a similar fit and characteristics. That's it! I bought 3 and will continue to buy more as long as they make them. Here are the features I was looking for: 1) Fit - I'm 5'8" and 160 pounds. The medium length is perfect for the length of the sleeve and the length of the body. .2) Buttons - no buttons please. 3) Shirt Lapels - I like a shirt jacket that is longer in the front and back and shorter on the sides to make it easier to slip my hands into my pockets. Here are the features that were not included in the Cabelas product: 1) Side pockets - I don't use them but they seem to be made well enough for your hands. 2) Smooth sleeve lining is a handy feature that makes dressing and undressing easier. 3) Not made in China. YES! The Cabelas shirt jacket has pen access to the left breast pocket, which this one does not have. I can live without this feature. I'm so glad I finally found a comparable (the best actually) product I hope they keep making for many years to come.
