They are long enough to reach the top of my boots which is not always the case with winter pants (I'm 0-2 and 5'8" so I have a hard time finding pants that go to fit my waist). and at the same time quite long). They're also much thinner than most winter pants, so stylish and comfortable. I wouldn't say they are "waterproof" but they are very water and windproof. I've used them in freezing temperatures, wind and snow and they've kept me warm and dry. And I'm from Phoenix, so I'm usually not comfortable in the cold. I wasn't sure what to expect at such a low price but they are exactly what I was looking for.
