These lions are very cute but quite small. My daughter wears a 2T in most things, she is about 35 inches tall and weighs 28 pounds. I buy her a 3T when I want to use her longer so I ordered a size 3 expecting it to fit better as we already have some sizes 4-5 which are a bit bulky for her. No, you can hardly squeeze it out of her. Wearing this Leo over a size 4 that I have elsewhere is a full 2.5 inches shorter at the bottom. I wish I had returned her for a larger size when I had the opportunity because she probably wouldn't be looking for it. Round off the size your child wears and order one size up!
