Very disappointed with this turntable. Maybe we just got a broken one, but the tonearm was so light (plastic) that the stylus slipped over every record we tried on it. We tried the old trick of "putting a coin on top of the cartridge" to make it heavier and keep it from shifting, but even a quarter wasn't heavy enough. As far as I could tell, there was no lever or counterbalance tension adjustment - something you'd really only expect on a more expensive model. Too bad because the price was reasonable - except for the $15 penalty for returning the defective one. submitted - and the feature list looked good on paper. But the one we received could never be used.
