Bought this to keep the cold wind from hitting my chest on a cold morning. Seems to work great for that. I'm 6'0" and with the Puig installed the sound is no more, no less when I sit upright, but when I bend over the noise gets louder. If you're underneath this could be a problem. Bike. Me really didn't want to add a taller windshield.I thought it was only for old folks but I have to say it looks pretty killer.Dark smoke is pretty darn close to black so if that's not what you want lighten it it up.Darker than the picture in the amazon listing.Another thing to note is that on a full right turn it will make contact with the brake fluid reservoir but hardly it's not a deal breaker at all but leave it know it. I've added two photos to show the headroom compared to the Puig. Also due to the tank hit. Hope they help. Feel free to buy this windshield, especially considering the price. It's high quality and looks good. Have fun!
