******UPDATE: This guitar finally broke, almost 2 whole years later. I will be getting a new one for my sons birthday again since it lasted so long and he loved playing with it.******I have a rambunctious 3 year old and he is ROUGH on his toys. I bought a different guitar that lasted 2 days. This one is going strong 1 month later. He carries it almost everywhere, sometimes it gets bonked against the floor or furniture, but he still loves to "play' on it, which is what counts. I recommend that you get this. Obviously we are not using it as a actual musical instrument, so I cannot speak to how accurate the sound is, but in terms of durability, this is a keeper!
