So I bought these candles and when I opened the box I thought I got exactly what I wanted. Then I put the batteries in and couldn't go wrong. I had another set of candles that I recently bought for myself from a friend. When turned on, its flames were a much more contrasting white color than a soft "yellowish" glow. then I noticed that the flame didn't even move. They didn't have a fan that would cause flicker. I could see a broken fan in one of them, but there was no flickering in any of them. It was a white light shining on a piece of white plastic that wasn't moving. They could only be made bearable by placing them alongside my other candles and masking the severe lack of candle impact, but the color difference was noticeable. Get them at your own risk. I'll probably get mine back.
