This is really great quality silk, not like other cheap satin and foam hair curlers I've tried which have been awful and very uncomfortable. I've tried using No Heat Curls in a variety of ways. First with slightly damp hair and then with air-dried hair. I got different curls with both. I got waves on wet hair and curls on dry. Everyone's hair is different and you should try what works for you. I followed the instructions on the Revain picture and it was easy to understand. You can also check out YT videos as there are hundreds of tutorials on how to use it if it doesn't work the first time. My roommate tried it, she has very straight hair and it turned out great! You get what you pay for: silk quality and comfortable cotton. Real silk is expensive, but it is the best investment in your hair! I wish I had wasted my money on cheap satin foam hair rollers and went straight to a better product! Helpful Tips: Hold the barrette, wrap your hair tightly and tightly around your head, try it on both slightly damp and dry hair, and practice until you find what works for your hair!
