Mine charged right out of the box so I was able to use it right away. One click and the pen turns blue, indicating it's on. One tap on my 2019 Galaxy 4G LTE's tab screen and no problem. I don't know why some say it doesn't work for Tab a. This is absolutely that good. The Samsung Note app is a bit buggy. But there was a problem with the app. After downloading another note app. It worked wonderfully. This pen also works with my gaxy note phones. It comes with a charger and a spare cap. The pen was worth buying and I highly recommend it.
