This cream is easy to apply and only a small amount is needed. The smell is minty, it takes a minute to rub into the skin. I apply a small amount to my hand to show how it covers most of my hand. Start rubbing it in a circular motion. The feeling of cooling/tingling on the skin gradually decreases throughout the day. Instructions recommend applying twice a day and exfoliating twice a week for best results. The lotion absorbs into the skin leaving it hydrated but not greasy. I can't say if it reduces or prevents cellulite but I gave it four stars because the price was a bit high if it doesn't reduce cellulite. I've only been using it for a few days so it won't be long before I see results.
