Low energy consumption
I've compared these to some similar strips I bought a few years ago and they use about half the energy. It's good. They have a rubber layer over the lighted side that looks like it offers good water and moisture protection. I have not seen this with other light bars I have purchased in the past. It comes off with little effort I made because I wanted to use them. The sticky material is average, that is, bad. If you tape them to something that painter's tape will stick to, they might stick too. I'm used to using hot melt gun glue to glue things like this together.
