Review on 📻 QFX R-35 Portable Shortwave Radio Black: High-Performance Connectivity on-the-go! by Justin Ritter

I got this radio for $5 so wasn't expecting much. When I opened the box, my first impression was that it was very cheap. Just feel cheap. I did notice a few minor scratches on the back although it should have been new and in a bubble wrap 'envelope' so I believe I was sent a returned item. However, when I turned it on, I was impressed with the reception. I got most FM stations within a 70 mile radius and AM stations well over 400 miles at night. They were clear enough to be heard. I haven't tried doing DX transmissions on AM but I believe it will pick up 50kW stations about 700 miles away. The speaker is metal and flat, like many small radios, although it doesn't have to be. The Prunus J-777 is smaller but has a much better speaker. In general. Not bad for a $5 radio. The reception is excellent, but the radio and speaker quality leaves a lot to be desired.
