My daughter hates the feel of wool; she finds it too itchy. These solve the problem well. Terramar is sold in outdoor stores and is of good quality. I bought a medium size for my 50 inch 65 lb kid and they fit well. We bought 2 sets of Terramar plus a set of expensive merino wool thermals and she preferred them. She wore them as a base layer on a trip to the mountains. The weather was below zero almost every day and she was warm. In the 1920s I wore them under wool thermal underwear. I hand washed them after every few uses and they dried overnight (zero humidity probably helped).
