This is a well made quilt. The squares are actually sewn together, it's not just a screen printed square pattern. It's lightweight compared to a comforter, perfect for spring and early summer, although where I'm in the Midwest I might add a comforter for a while (I can't wait to use it now and it's still a bit chilly at night! : )) Daughter said he was kind of vintage in looks. Lots of beautiful, intense colors to match any curtain, carpet or wall colour. It's not too bright, just deep colors. If you like some lived/faded softness from quilts, it looks like this quilt will take a while to get to that point. It can be a plus if you like new things to make them look new. I will look at other bedding from this company!
