We ended up buying two of these gates (one to block off the foyer area and another one for the kitchen area). I was concerned about the stability of the gates since we needed to swap the extension pieces due to the width of our entryway openings. Thankfully it worked out well! We used two of the 11” extensions (one on each side) of a gate and it works! Part "D” as labeled in their image is the 11 inches extension in case this might help someone else. 2 of the 11” extension with a door in between is able to hold up well to a 25 lbs toddler hanging and pulling herself back and forth like a monkey! Haha. Highly recommend this gate because it also enables us to use our feet to lift the gate up and open it while we’re carrying a sleeping baby. Thank you for the awesome gates!
