I can't give a very specific review as I just bought a hat so I don't wear it. I sometimes feel bad for ignoring email requests for reviews. It's great, wide brim, not too heavy, folds down to fit a wallet and my wife seems to like it. Time will tell whether it protects against the pleasant but harmful rays of the sun in the long term. One minus - the woman's desire to go to the beach more. I'm not a big beach lover. They are boring and gloomy. Living in Southwest Florida gives us access to generally good beaches, but they're still boring and sandy. Bringing a fishing rod will help stave off boredom, but you'll still be on the sand. There are so many better places: a pool, a lake, your own sofa, even a waiting room. The hat is good and my wife is cute without a hat.
