Purchased these socks to relieve my feet of some of the stress I put them through on a daily basis as a restaurant busser.FIT: They are somewhat hard to put on due to the tightness of the calf section. The best way I found was to reach into the sock, grab the heel and pull the foot portion inside out, then place foot inside and roll the sock up with both hands (shown in pictures).FORM: Wearing these with shorts definitely had people feel the need to comment on them as they are form fitting, rather shiny and reach just under the knee cap.FUNCTION: After having worn them for several weeks, I must say that I'm still not 100% certain about the supposed effects of these socks: During a typical 7-8 hour shift, my feet and legs would feel all sorts of strange movement inside, like a shifting of the blood vessels. I could never tell if this was good or bad. Upon taking them off at home though, the veins of my feet were always much smaller than they would be without the socks, hence they did their job.*I recommend leaving them out to air dry after a machine wash, as the heat from a dryer can cause them to shrink further and possibly ruin the compression effect.*
