I was hesitant to buy these because you never know how well they are made. The plastic of the mouth and teeth is very thick and durable. The mechanism of the teeth is made of solid metal, and the spring has great power, so the teeth remain in the wound state for some time. The size seems comparable to an adult's mouth. I actually got her to demonstrate how to brush our little one's teeth. She enjoyed brushing those teeth, but it was difficult to transition from brushing to brushing. We've actually had more success watching YouTube videos of toddlers brushing their teeth than going to the bathroom to brush their teeth.
