When I first saw this neck fan I was skeptical. But since I'm always hot and can't spend any time outside without sweating, I was willing to take the risk. And I'm happy to report that this setup has exceeded all my expectations. I'm going to list a few features that really stood out to me and made this thing 'with me every day' for me. Long battery life. I didn't actually measure the time, but I know I can work continuously for at least 3 hours with the fans set to their lowest speed. flexible material. When I first took this item out of the box, I was surprised to learn that the part between the fans is actually quite flexible. You can easily bend and twist it to wrap it completely around your neck. This is great because it offers better stability when moving around the neck with it. The lighting really works. While I didn't encounter any situations that required lighting, I played around with different lighting options and was impressed with the brightness as well as the full spectrum of colors available (the full spectrum of ROYGBIV). One lighting option is just a white LED light which I think will be helpful when reading a book in the dark? One feature I really didn't find that useful is the aromatherapy chamber. You can detach the top of the fan and there is a small opening to put the aromatherapy pods, one of which is included. Since it undoubtedly originated in China, I had a feeling that what taste might be in the sample capsule would not be pleasant. And honestly, who wants to be shot in the face with a scent? When I'm hot and out of breath, all I want is cool/fresh/clean air. Maybe it's personal preference but I found it a bit useless. Overall this was a basic 5 star rating. It's not every day that I find a cheap solution to a problem in my life. I actually bought a second one to take with me on my upcoming trip abroad next summer. Waiting in long lines for the Eiffel Tower or the Liberty Bell will be much more pleasant with this cool fridge around your neck!
