I’ve had two feral cats give birth within 4 weeks of each other. The first cat, had her babies under my glider on the front porch. The second cat, I was determined to have a box set up for her to have her kittens. I placed this box on my porch, along with additional blankets inside for her to give birth. As soon as I set it up, which was so easy to set up, she went in it, checked it out, and scoped it out. Also, I wrapped a tarp around it to protect it from the rain. The next day, she delivered her kittens in the box.So worth $42, bc one it is easy to set up, I don’t think it’s made cheap, (reading past reviews), and it saved me time by not having to try to make my own cat box from a cardboard box, and cut a hole in it for the cat to come in and out. These boxes are great for those of us that try to help and save feral cats, with a safe place to have their kittens. In addition, both moms will be spayed before being released back into heir cat community.
