These bags are interesting. They are unlike any other reusable bags I have. We have pets and I don't let kids use them to carry snacks into our living areas because hair tends to stick to them. My husband quickly decided to use them straight out of the box to share popcorn at the cinema. I carried them there in a clean cloth bag but I still felt like they were collecting lint. I sealed the leftover popcorn when we left the theater and opened it the next day to find the popcorn was surprisingly fresh. The closures worked great for our purposes, although we didn't test them with clean liquids. One thing these bags do well that we can't use our other (zipped) bags for is STEAM in the microwave. We were able to use it to steam a lot of veggies in the microwave instead of buying expensive freezer bags. However, it seems a bit wasteful to pay for (Star Wars) branding for this purpose. I really appreciate that these flat bottom pouches stand on their own with some filling. This can be helpful when preparing things like berries etc.
