Buy this camera at Digital Cameras

I didn't consider this camera when it came out recently. I've heard it's too big for a mirrorless camera and is primarily intended for videographers. Then I found out via the Fuji forums that it was selling for less than half its original price and decided to take a look. And the more I read the latest reviews and explored its features, not to mention the discounted price, I decided to give it a try. I have to say right away that this is the most amazing camera from the Fuji range that I have bought. and I had all their previous flagship models of X100T and Xpro 1, Xpro 2, Xt-1 & 2 etc. It was packed in a big box and even though the battery was included I was like oh oh it's going to be a beast . In fact, it wasn't much bigger than my xt2. Second, the electronic viewfinder is amazing. It's pushed back more than any other Fuji camera so your nose doesn't hit the LCD and I don't use the LCD anymore except for setting up menus etc. It has a touchscreen which I probably won't use and I will Do not use video side of camera (never used and never use in any of my previous cameras). Therefore I cannot comment on these properties. But what I can say is that with IBIS, SUPERB Grip (finally!) and extensive customization via the menu system (which I find most convenient!) this is a great camera. One thing that stuck out like a thumb, however, was the placement of the Q button right on the back of the camera where your thumb goes. And I kept tripping over the Q button menu. I didn't use this feature on my previous cameras, so I was close to trying to record or otherwise disable it. But then, after reading the manual, I discovered that there is a very simple way to selectively disable certain function keys, including the Q key. For around $1,000 (I notice the price going up), this is one camera you can get, complete with a battery grip that holds two extra batteries (included) and gives you a BOOST mode for faster things . And other little things like the new camera strap that comes with Fuji. Not the flimsy one-way strap of the past, but a wide, comfortable, non-slip shoulder strap that is also quite handsome. Fuji is also known for listening to its customers and offering several firmware updates for this camera since its release. Across the Fuji line, the camera takes great pictures, has some great film simulations and now also uses Bluetooth to sync with the Fuji Remote app, which is also very handy for transferring images to and/or from your smartphone taking photos. Camera remotely.
